Description:  Creativity and Expression.  The Classic Fish emulates these characteristics in style. I believe this shape should be in everyone’s quiver. Bottom line: this board will help your ‘style’ of surfing.  Don’t lock yourself to ONLY the modern traditional “shortboard shape”.  Express your true surfing style. The Classic Fish was developed for you to discover your unique style.  Cutback, layback, or big hack, this timeless shape will bring you on a journey into your surfing soul.  Lets take a look below at what makes this model work!

Features: The retro Classic Fish outline, with its wide swallowtail gives you the ingredients to have fun and rip at the same time.  This model has lots of volume throughout its entirety and due the the straighter rail line, flat bottom contour until the tail, and twin fin setup (less drag), will have the most drive of any board in the BKS quiver.  What makes this fish shape truly unique is the convex tail out the swallow. Since swallowtails have such a wide release point, many surfers have struggled going rail to rail and getting the board to respond in above average surf.  To compensate and truly make this retro perform unlike any other "fish" you have ridden, we have designed a convex tail out the back 8" inches of this model.  This allows the surfer to lean forward for speedy drive, but then also be able to lean back on the tail and have the board respond quickly and perform.  This convex tail design allows this to be one of the most responsive fish shapes you probably will ever ride.  You’re gonna have fun on this model, we guarantee it!

Fin Setup: Recommended in glass-on twin wood keel fin setup (adds $50+).  Futures Twin/Quad fin setups also available.
